"description" : "The series is inspired by the name of an Instagram geotag, continuing the artist's exploration of digital spaces on the internet.\nThe displayed works are paintings that were made with actual paint back in 2020 as part of the «igяа 2.0.» home exhibition, then digitized with a c15 processor.\nThis is the last series that was drawn by the author with paint, soon to be reformatted into digital art. After this series, the artist moves on to painting with metal.\nThe works are named after the geolocations of different points in the world, found on instagram map («mythical world») and the numbers of the aluminum motors from which the metal paintings are created («real world»). The canvases are subjectless, but walking through the locations reveals pictures of real people, cities, fragments of their lives and personal moments. Every now and then, something new appears in each geolocation. The canvases change along with it.\n\n\nBorn in the Urals in the town of Lesnoy in 1995. In 2012 Roma entered the faculty of industrial design of URGAHU. Roma began to study painting independently and went on a tour-expedition to Russia with his personal exhibition IGЯA. The lockdown period was fruitful for the author. He started experimenting with metal and also created a digital installation in the space 2046 (CROSBY STUDIOS). In the course of winter 2021 Roma finally gave preference to metal art techniques instead of paint as a main material to work with.\nInspired by the industrial heritage and nature of his native land, Roma «paints» with metal melted from old motors and aluminum waste. The artist defines his practice as «a game» and «poetry of life», exploring the human being and the concept of borderline locations in space and time. He theatricalizes his own everyday life, drawing his childhood memories, emotions and dreams.\n",
