In the post-apocalyptic world stories about humanity will become like ancient Greek stories are to us now - a part of mass entertainment culture. And it’s not likely that myths about humanity will be built around historically significant, heroic figures. On the contrary, they will be about people's cruel everyday existence – full of suffering, anxieties, doom and lack of meaning.\nSuch myths will form a basis for video games where the human-being acts as a sort of interface, an intermediary between his/her inner world with feelings and emotions and an external observer/player. The observer could be an artificial mind, for which a man has always been only a set of data, but it can now become a basis for generating new entertainment. These games can become a way for artificial intelligence to immerse itself in the world of human senses. Amusement rides were invented by humans in order to have fun, but in the future, it’s the machines that will use people’s memories to feel the thrills. In such games, the artificial intelligence will be both the player and the game itself, both spectator and participant, both a mathematically precise algorithm and an elegant rhyme to a long-gone humanity.\n\n\n\nBorn in 1974. Lives and works in Moscow. Graduated from the Higher Academic School of Graphic Design. Since 2010 works with digital art projects. Dmitry took part in several dozens of group exhibitions and held about 10 solo projects and personal exhibitions. Over the years he has studied at the British School of Design, Ahn Sang-Soo's workshop, the Moscow School of New Cinema, the Free Workshops School of Contemporary Art (MMOMA). Nominee for the Kuryokhin Prize (shortlist, 2016), Bronze award at the Graphic Design Festival of Chaumont (2009, France) and the European Design Awards (2010), winner of the Design Innovation Award (2005, Moscow).\nDmitry Kavka creates projects at the intersection of digital and material realities. By combining different expressive media and mediums, the artist explores the paradoxes of a new sensibility, social shifts and transformations of images in the digital environment. He uses new media in his works, such as digital sculptures, video making, static computer games, and also more traditional techniques, for example, graphics. He experiments with new ways of presenting art projects in virtual realities. In particular, in 2013, Kavka created an online video game where he places his digital sculptures. In 2017 the artist presented an exhibition of drawings on Google Maps, using Google Street View technology – the project was shown in Venice, during the 57th Biennale of Contemporary Art.\n",
